Description of Solar Supporting System
Solar support system also called solar racking system is used to fix PV modules on surfaces like roofs, building facades, or the ground. The PV array of a solar mounting system can be mounted on rooftops, generally mounted on flat roof, tile roof and metal roof. If the rooftop is horizontal, the solar array is mounted with each panel aligned at an angle. The ground solar supporting system includes pole mount, ground screw foundation mount and ballasted footing mount. The solar array consist of PV modules held in place by racks or frames that are attached to ground-based mounting supports.
