Identify the location where the hanger bolt will be installed. Use a marker or pencil to mark the exact spots where the holes for the hanger bolt will be drilled.

Step 3: Drilling the Holes
Select the appropriate drill bit size that matches the diameter of the hanger bolt's threaded portion. Carefully drill a pilot hole into the marked location. Ensure the hole is straight and clean.

Step 4: Threading the Holes (if required)
If the material you are working with requires it, use a tap to create the internal threads in the drilled hole. This step is crucial for ensuring a secure fit.

Step 5: Assembling the Hanger Bolt
Place a washer on the hanger bolt, followed by a nut. The washer helps distribute the load and protect the surface from damage, while the nut will secure the bolt in place.

Step 6: Inserting the Hanger Bolt
