There are two general methods for classifying solar panel support component brackets, one is classified by material and the other is by installation. Different classifications determine how the treatment is handled during the maintenance process.
According to the material classification, it can be divided into aluminum alloy solar panel mounting brackets, steel solar mounting brackets and non-metal solar brackets. Non-metal brackets are used less frequently, and the first two types are common.
Aluminum alloy solar panel mounting bracket: good anti-corrosion performance, basically no maintenance in later use, high mechanical strength; the disadvantage is that the price is more expensive, and it is used for distributed industrial plant roof or family roof with load bearing requirements.
Maintenance focus: Special attention should be paid to the factory and installation. For example, aluminum alloy is not a complete aluminum alloy. It may be doped with other materials, so the stability and corrosion resistance will be greatly reduced. It is easy to cause safety hazards and cause the bracket to collapse.
Steel bracket: Mostly hot-dip galvanized, the mechanical strength is general, the anti-corrosion performance is poor, and the maintenance amount in the later use is not small. The advantage is that the price is suitable, suitable for large-area installation.
Maintenance focus: Carefully check the bolt connection and welding between the I-beam and the I-beam, there will be a connection failure, loose bolts and gaps in the welding between the I-beams. The above problems will cause the components to collapse.
According to the installation method, it is also divided into two categories, the first type is a fixed photovoltaic support, and the second type is a tracking type photovoltaic solar panel support.
Stationary: The PV array does not rotate with changes in the angle of incidence of the sun, receiving solar radiation in a fixed manner;
Maintenance focus: stable structure, low cost, and little maintenance in the later stage;
Tracking: It aims to increase solar radiation by tracking the solar elevation and azimuth. From the perspective of the power generation efficiency of the photovoltaic system, the tracking type has a higher annual average sunshine hours than the fixed type, and the solar energy utilization rate is high, but the tracking type prior investment cost is high.
Maintenance focus: Compared with the fixed bracket, the tracking bracket has a high height, which is difficult to clean and maintain, and the cost will increase. Therefore, reducing the failure rate during design and installation is the maintenance focus.
