Germany Launches New Measures To Support Solar Energy

The German parliament has approved the "Solarpaket 1" policy package, which includes an increase in feed-in tariffs for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects and the introduction of new measures on the size of eligible installations in large-scale solar auctions.
The German parliament has approved the Solarpaket 1 policy to support the photovoltaic industry. The new bill was passed with 384 votes in favor, 79 votes against, and 200 abstentions.
