If the angle of the roof is not met, the inclination and orientation of the PV array are more important.

1. The effect of dip angle on solar radiation is much higher than that of orientation. Therefore, for an environment that has to change the inclination or orientation, it is better to change the orientation and maintain the inclination.


2. The orientation of the status area has a relatively low impact on radiation. For example, in Sanya, the optimal inclination angle should be about 18 degrees, and if the inclination angle is 8 degrees, the solar radiation will be reduced by about 0.4% compared with the optimal inclination angle, and if the optimal inclination angle is maintained, but it is oriented to the east or the west At 10 degrees, the amount of solar radiation obtained is hardly different.


3. For areas with good radiation resources, the influence of dip angle on radiation is far greater than that in areas with relatively poor radiation resources. For example, in Jiuquan area, the optimal inclination angle should be about 40 degrees, and if the inclination angle is 30 degrees, the solar radiation will be reduced by about 1.2% compared with the optimal inclination angle, and if the optimal inclination angle is maintained, but it faces east or west. At 10 degrees, the amount of solar radiation obtained will be reduced by about 0.3%.


4. The inclination of high latitudes has a higher impact on radiation than in low latitudes.
